Welcome to the home page for the Minnesota Dickensian Yule Ball. We will be offering dancing, caroling, parlor games, a silent charity auction, as well as a variety of light refreshments, all in the historical Harrington mansion in Minneapolis. The Ball will be held on December 5th, 2009, at 7:00pm, lasting until midnight. Tickets are $25 per person, or $40 per couple, and must be bought in advance. Total attendance will be limited to 60 people, so please register early.
Due to the nature of the event, formal steampunk, lolita, or neovictorian attire will be respectfully required. For questions on dress code or any other matter, please feel free to contact us at StPaulYuleBall@gmail.com

We are pleased to announce that the Ball will be held at the stately and historic Harrington Mansion, near downtown Minneapolis. Parking is available for free in the Mansions lot. The mansion is part of the Zurah Shrine Center, whose address is:

Refreshments
We will be offering an array of decadent light refreshments and complementary nonalcoholic beverages at the ball, as well as a cash bar, featuring traditional Victorian holiday drinks. The full menu will be posted prior to the event, so please check back for more information.
Charity Auction
We will be featuring a silent charity auction with contributions from a variety of local businesses, artists, and designers. Proceeds will go towards the cost of the ball, and to the Minnesota Literacy Council, which promotes literacy throughout our state. Please check back for updates to our silent auction donations list.
